Jalandhar 5 June (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts students of G.M.T., Loharan, C.J.R. and Royal World School took out Rallies at their respective campuses in recognition of “World Environment Day”. It was an endeavor to spread awareness of the effect that human population is having on the environment. They also mentioned ways to reduce or prevent the harm done to nature by us. It attempted to bring people closer to nature, observe its effect on the weather and prevent its destruction. Slogans like ‘Help Save Environment’, ‘Earth provides enough for every Man’s Need but not for every Man’s Greed’ ‘Lend a Hand to save Trees’ ‘Your Survival depends on my Existence. Wake Up’ were displayed by the children showing their concern for the environment. Director Principal Mr. Dheeraj Banati explained that such activities keep the students aware of their responsibilities while making the world healthier place to live in. They were told to spread this message to their families and in their neighbourhood. He said that the Innocent Hearts group will persevere with its efforts to ‘Save the Environment’.
