Jalandhar 18 June (Jaswinder Azad)- A respect laden program on the martyrdom day of 5th Guru, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji was held in Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar today wherein Bhog of the Sehaj Path in the college Gurudwara Sahib was followed by 'Chabeel' and 'Guru Ka Langar' served to one and all on the college entrance. The occasion was duly participated in by President Governing Council, Sardarni Balbir Kaur, Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Dean Academic Affairs and the entire managing committee of the event including the staff and students of the college. Conveying his message on this occasion Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra reiterated the commitment of Lyallpur Khalsa College to the Sikh ideal of Sewa, and under the inspiring guidance of President Sardarni Balbir Kaur, it would continue to make substantial efforts to serve the society by making the youth of the country spiritually enlightened and morally strong so that they may be prevented from various threatening social evils. The function was also attended by Joint Secretary S. Jaspal Singh Waraich, Member Managing Committee S. Swaran Singh Cheema along with the staff and students of the college.
