Jalandhar 28 July (Jaswinder Azad)- Welcoming the new students, CT Group of Institutions, both Shahpur and Maqsudan campus organised a two-day long induction program at their respective campuses. CT Institute of Higher Studies (CTIHS), M.K College of Education, CT Institution of Law (CTIL) and CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM) along with Maqsudan campus held induction programs to bring together young and keen minds from different parts of the country and to create a friendly and interactive environment.
The new blooming buds were made aware of the rules, regulations and practices of the CT Group during this induction. The program was started with a welcome speech by Dr. Kuldeep Kaur Grewal, Director, GNDU College. Dr. Seema Arora (Principal, CTIHS) along with Ms. Sarvjit Kaur (HOD, CTIHS) gave introductory speech in which she welcomed the new comers and discussed about CT Institute of Higher Studies, its Infrastructure and various academic events.
Dr. Bharat Kapoor (Director, CTIHM) along with Mr. Divoy Chhabra (HOD, CTIHM) imparted information about CTIHM and its various courses and the industrial tie-ups. Ms. Amrit Kalsi, Manager Trainings and Mr. Nishant Pathak (AP, CTIHS) delivered a motivational speech during which he emphasized on the power of positive thinking and the pre-planning for coming curriculum and session. Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Director, Maqsudan campus also welcomed the students of various courses in Maqsudan campus.
The students were given a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the different aspects of various courses and about the placed students in the industry and various industrial tie-ups. Documentaries and short movies were presented by Mr. Vishal Kumar, AP, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.
To energize the students, some indoor, outdoor games and other activities were organized. RJ Rajan, from one of the private Radio stations interacted with the freshmen at Maqsudan campus.
Chef Sanjeev Verma, Managing Director, Pashtun Restaurant acted as a guest lecturer for the students of Hotel Management. The session also included plantation drives. To give the real experience of video shooting, the team of one of the Punjabi reality shows Canteeni Mandeer shot their upcoming episodes in the campus where students experienced and enjoyed Live shooting.

Charanjit S Channi, Chairman, Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, Mr. Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, Dr. GS Kalra, Campus Director Shahpur and Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Campus Director, Maqsudan welcomed the fresh students and motivated them to work hard as it’s the start of their new life where they will be prepared for their professional lives.
