Jalandhar 14 July (Gurkirat Singh)- Lyallpur Khalsa College is well noted for the excellence of its students all over the world and another prime example of the same came to the forth when Tejinder Singh Thind a former student of the college, achieved a major distinction in the field of Mathematics after being appointed as a lecturer (Mathematics) in the prestigious Holy Spring High School, Mississippi, USA. On his visit to the college Tejinder Singh Thind attributed this achievement to the efforts of the college staff who inspired him to scale such heights. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra duly honored Tejinder Singh Thind and added that the excellence of such students has accelerated the excellence of the college as well. Prof. Palwinder Singh Bolina and Dr. Arminder Singh Professor, Mathematics from the University of Langston were also there on the occasion.
