Havan Yajna performed at the commencement of the new session

Jalandhar 12 July (Jaswinder Azad)- Havan Yajna was performed in the Yajnashala of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya on 12th July, 2018 to mark the commencement of the new session and seek the blessings of the Almighty for the healthy growth of the institution. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed the worthy guest Sh. S.R. Arora, Secretary, DAV College Managing Committee New Delhi, the faculty members, Non-teaching staff and the supporting staff on this auspicious day.  She prayed for the blessings of the Almighty and wished that everybody enjoyed good health.  She motivated the members to come out of their comfort zone, rise above small differences to achieve best results in the third cycle of NAAC.  She also recognized the contribution of the retired faculty and thanked Sh. S.R. Arora and Padmashri Dr. Punam Suri, our mentor who has constantly been a source of inspiration of all of us. Sh.  S.R. Arora described himself as a part of the institution and prayed for its well being.  He inspired us through a small incident from the life of Mahatma Hans Raj Ji. Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, dean Academics paid gratitude to the Almighty and to Mahatma Hans Raj, the founder of the institution.  She described this session as a crucial and challenging session, a historic session in which we are to break our own record and create a new one. Mr. Amarjit Khanna, Office Supdt. gave the message of unity and assured the dignitaries that the faculty and staff would work unitedly to meet the desired goals. The stage was conducted by Dr. Nidhi Bal.
