HMV organized Orientation Programme for new students

Jalandhar 16 July (Jaswinder Azad)- An Orientation Programme for new students of TDC Part I (all streams) was conducted at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya to make them aware about the college rules and academic information.  Under this programme, Dean Academics, Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur told the students about various subjects, leave rules, scholarships available and other facilities available in the college.  Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, Dean Discipline told the students about rules of discipline.  Mrs. Navroop Kaur, Dean Youth Welfare told the new comer students about cultural and literary competitions and encouraged them to participate in these competitions.  Mrs. Veena Arora, Coordinator NSS made the students aware about NSS programme.  Dr. Rajeev Kumar told them about NCC wing of the college.  Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda, Dean Innovations told them the short term and innovative programmes offered by the college.  Mr. Gullagong, Placement Officer told the students about placement.  Mrs. Urvashi Mishra, Dean Student Council told the students about leadership qualities and Student Council of the college.  Dr. Sangeeta Arora told them about the time table.  On this occasion, Heads of various departments and other staff members were also present.  Stage was conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia.
