Jalandhar 24 July (Jaswinder Azad)- A rally & tree plantation drive was undertaken by NCC Cadets of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar to celebrate VAN Mahotsav. Around 100 saplings were planted by the cadets who also pledged to look after them. Holding banners & posters 50 NCC cadets participated in this rally to create awareness among the society. Associate NCC Officer Lieutenant Priya Mahajan & Dr. Sukhvir Shergill also marched along with cadets. Principal Dr. Kiran Arora applauded the efforts of NCC cadets and said that plantation Drive is an effort to reduce our carbon foot print in the atmosphere.
