Jalandhar 25 August (Gurkirat Singh)- On 25th August 2018, Saturday, Trinity College Jalandhar organized 3rd level of state level mega event BLOOMING BUDS. After clearing the first two levels where around 7300 students participated from various schools of Punjab, 94 students made it to the third and final level. The program started with a solemn prayer and lighting of lamp. Asst. Prof Ajay Prashar, principal of the college extended a warm welcome to the august gathering. There were various competitions like- SINGING, MIMICRY, ART AND CRAFT, and DANCE, Ice Breaking, Poem Recitation etc. Students from various schools got ample opportunities to explore their talents. There was an interactive session with the participants taken by Radio Jockey Sandy from Big Fm(92.7). He motivated the students in a very effective way. The chief guest of the day was Mon. Fr Xavier, Chairman, Education Board, Diocese of Jalandhar. He honoured the winners of Level 2. He congratulated the whole team of Trinity college for their never ending efforts for the overall development of the students. He inspired the students to achieve their dreams with hardwork and dedication. On this occasion, maximum participation came from Sacred Heart Convent school, Jamalpur and they were appreciated with the award for the same. The occasion was graced by Rev Fr Peter, the Director of the college, Rev. Fr. Johnson, Dean of the College, Asst. Prof Ajay Prashar, Principal of the college Rev Sr Rita, Rev Sr Prima, Prof Pooja, Prof Nidhi, Prof Jessy,Prof Navdeep, Dr Rashmi, Prof Inderpreet, all the faculty members and teachers and students from various schools. Prof Daljit Kaur expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the august gathering. Prof Neetu and Prof Daljit were coordinators of the event.
