Jalandhar 29 August (Gurkirat Singh)- PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar witnessed Investiture Ceremony for the Academic Session 2018-19 on August 29, 2018. The Chief Guest of the occasion Dr.(Mrs.) Kiran Arora graced the ceremony.The dignified ceremony commenced with the floral welcome of the Chief Guest, Dr.(Mrs.) Kiran Arora by Mrs. Sangita Sharma (Dean, Central Association), Mrs. Priya Mahajan (Deputy Dean, Central Association), Dr. Mrs Harkamal Kaur (Deputy Dean, Youth club). The Head girl of the PG Courses Ms. Kritika Maggo also welcomed the Chief Guest on behalf of the students. Principal Madam conferred the badges on the appointees of the Central Association and Youth club and congratulated them on their stupendous achievement. Oath taking Ceremony was conducted by Mrs. Priya Mahajan where students pledged to serve the college and fulfill their responsibilities to the best of their abilities. The office Bearers dressed in resplendent code. The Chief Guest in her address exhorted the Office Bearers and student members of Central Association to perform their duties with zeal and determination and to be exemplary in their approach. Ms. Muskan Sharma is appointed as the Head Girl of the college for Under Graduate Courses, Ms. Kritika Maggo, Head Girl of Post Graduate Courses and Ms. Kamalpreet, President of Youth Club. A total of 8 Office Bearers of Central Association, 5 Office Bearers of Youth Club, 12 Disciplines Incharges and 71 Class Representatives were conferred with the badges. The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by the Head Girl of the college. The Ceremony was attended by all the members of the Central Association and Youth Club.
