Jalandhar 25 August (Gurkirat Singh)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar’s Department of Student Welfare organized a programme for the students of college and KMV Collegiate School for the celebration of Raksha Bandhan. During the celebrations the students put up a stall where they not only exhibited the handmade Rakhees but also sold them. Along with this the students of KMV Collegiate School got everyone’s attention by showcasing their creativity in Thali Decoration competition. In this competition, Ravia stood first, Jahanvi and Harmanpreet got second position and Anjali and Amandeep Kaur got third position. The students of B.Voc. (Nutrition, Health and Exercise) of DDU Kaushal Kendra, KMV prepared chocolates with cornflakes & oats along with various mouthwatering and nutritious delicacies. The Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated everyone on the festival of Raksha Bandhan and also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Ms. Veena Deepak & Ms. Niti Kapoor for the successful organization of the programme. Ms.Hardeep Kaur, Ms. Neeraj Saini & Dr. Gurjot were the judges during the competition.
