Innocent Hearts celebrated the bond of sister and brother- Raksha Bandhan

Jalandhar 25 August (Gurkirat Singh)- Innocent Hearts Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Royal World celebrated  the heartwarming festival of  Raksha Bandhan with a variety of activities. The little ones of INNOKIDS – the Pre- Primary School were told stories like that of Krishna Ji and Draupadi which is the significance of this bond of love. The girls tied rakhis to boys dressed as soldiers and danced with joy to the song “ Behna ne Bhai Ki Kalai Pe Pyar Bandha Hai.” The students of classes I to VI made innovative and beautifully decorated rakhis to tie on the wrist of their brothers. The artistic capacity of the students was original and impressive. The students of classes VII and VIII made cards for the occasion to present to their brothers and sisters. All activities showed a great level of zeal and enthusiasm amongst the children for this eagerly awaited annual festival. Director Principal Schools Mr. Dheeraj Banati  and Vice Principal Mrs. Sharmila Nakra explained to the students about the importance of festivals and relations in our lives and told them to celebrate it with great enthusiasm.
