Jalandhar 31 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Our NCC Cadets received honour in the hands of the Panchayat of the village Bolina in association with Baba Sant Ram Sports club. Our esteemed Prime Minister, Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Swachh Bharat Summer Internship to emphasise the significance of cleanliness and humanitarian service. About 40 NCC Cadets our our college rendered 100 hours of consistent service in the village from 15th July to 31st July. They held several rallies and awareness programmes on the topic Drug Abuse. Apart from cleanliness , street plays were dramatized to highlight the importance of growing more trees in sustaining a healthy environment. Owing to the success of their mission the members of the sports club, Kulwinder Singh, Pardeep Heer, Satwinder Kumar, Jaspreet and the Sarpanch of the village, Sardar Gurdeep Bagha paid homage to the cadets along with the NCC – Officer Lieutenant Priya Mahajan. Principal Dr. Kiran Arora lauded the painstaking endeavours of our illustrious cadets.
