Jalandhar 1 September (Jaswinder Azad)- The NCC Army Wing students of Lyallpur Khalsa College actively participated in the district level Independence Day celebration program held at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium Jalandhar. The cadet students of the college earned huge laurels for the institution by bagging first prize in the same program. The same program also saw the participation of various schools and colleges of the region. The cadet contingent of the college also won a gold medal in the annual CATC Camp held at Tanda, Hoshiarpur by delivering excellent performances in competitions such as drilling, shooting, guard of honor whilst also adding another medal in cultural presentation. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated the NCC Cadets of the college and encouraged them to continue their brilliance in the same as this path forms the pedestal for nation service and patriotism. NCC Incharge, Prof. Gagandeep Singh informed that the aforementioned events were participated in, by over 500 students from various institutions and this itself is another milestone for the college NCC Army wing.
