Jalandhar 8 March (Bureau)- The Women Empowerment Cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a campus rally and Nukkad Natak on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Principal Dr.Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj inaugurated the rally. The students were carrying the posters and banners depicting women empowerment through slogans. The rally was lead by Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj, Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, Incharge Women Empowerment Cell and Mrs. Kuljeet Kaur Athwal, Co-Incharge of the cell. After the rally, the students performed Nukkad Natak in the campus. The title of the Natak was ‘Humse Mile’, written and directed by Dr. Nidhi Kochhar from Hindi Deptt. This natak was a satire on like Dowry, Female Foeticide and Domestic violence. The Nukkad Natak and campus rally was appreciated by Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj. On this occasion, Dean Holistic Development Dr. Jasbir Rishi, Dean Academics Mrs. Meenakshi Syal, Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop and others were also present.
