Jalandhar 29 April (Bureau)- The Centre for competitive exams at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya – The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar organised coaching classes for the aspirants of UPSC/PCS competitive exams. Students received training from various subjects experts from both KMV and outside. The venture is in harmony with the ultimate goal of the college, which is to empower young girls by equipping them with the right skills to reach administrative posts where a serious positive decision making having important economic, social and political implications is done. This is imperative that women should have an equal say in all important issues. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Ms. Seema Jain., Dr. Sabina Batra, Dr. Anshu Oberoi and Dr. Monica Sharma under whose supervision the entire programme was conducted and concluded successfully. She also expressed gratitude to the guest faculty which included Maj.-Gen Prof. G.G Dwivedi, Dean and Chairperson, Dept. of International Studies, Aligarh Muslim University, Prof. K.K. Ghai, Mr. Deepak Kanwar and Ms. Charu Sikka and lauded the efforts of KMV faculty members who painstakingly delivered expert talks in their respective subject areas.
