Adventurous Trip to Mashobra Near Shimla of Eklavya School

Jalandhar 16 June (Jaswinder Azad)- Eklavya School had taken the students for fun and frolic adventurous trip to Mashobra. This was coordinated by school teachers Ms. Rajwinder and Ms. Anamika. The aim of organizing this trip was to make the students independent as they will be away from their parents, enhancing their leadership quality and building team spirit within the students. Children got acquainted with the activities like Yuppi Rope, Burma bridge, Moogli walk, Travelling travel, Rapling and various recreational Games. The extravaganza began with a cheerful singing of peppy songs enroute the venue where our students were given a warm welcome. The students enjoyed an array of rides and sumptuous meal which was followed by games ‘Where is my monkey?’.  Children were taken for night trekking in which they were told to walk quietly and observe the wildlife at night. They were told listen different sounds at night. Students were also taken for day trekking to cook food with limited resources. Students were also taught  tying different types of knots. They enjoyed Bonfire at night with music. At the end of the day all students had to write about their day’s experience.  The Director Eklavya School Ms. Seema Handa shared the importance of such trips and said children really get exposure from these adventurous camps.  While Ms. Sapna Bakshi (Eklavya School) said these camps help in enhancing leadership quality and developing team work spirit. The school Principal Ms. Dimpal Sharma encouraged and motivated the students and the teachers to make it a grand success.
