Balraj Singh Khehra becomes the first Sardar title holder of MTV Roadies

Jalandhar 20 June (Jaswinder Azad)- Turbanator, Balraj Singh Khehra has won hearts of millions with his thrilling and jaw dropping performances in the X4 season of MTV Roadies. Basically from Khadur Sahib (Tarntaran), he had rollercoaster ride in this reality show.
At one point he was voted out by the fellow contestants in sake of cutting down their competition streak. But, it was viewer’s demand that put him back on the show as Wild Card Entry. He didn’t take this opportunity otherwise, but proved himself again by winning the re-entry task and made his place in the show to win the show.
On his journey, he said, “The win of a Sardar in Roadies X4 has created a history. He owe my win to the viewers whose love and support made me re-enter the show. Even after my first win in Mr. Punjab, I got thunderous response and ample appreciation. This made me do something else and of viewer’s interest I went for Roadies auditions. I was lucky enough that I was selected and now the winner of the show.”
Fitness consultant in CT Group of Institutions, Balraj won PTC Mr. Punjab 2014, a reality show competition. He called himself as Fitness freak, “I am into fitness, I love being fit and healthy. As this not only makes our body and mind sound but makes us look good.” He likes Fitness, Fashion, Travelling, Reading, Dancing & Helping others.
Being stubborn is his weakness but he doesn’t take things for granted. Balraj said, “Being taken for granted is the worst thing one could be to others for that matter, I always respect others and their feelings & gestures. I owe a lot to my Punjabiyat, our traditions and humbleness has always helped me to get the love and appreciation from others because of my behavioral etiquettes.”
Heartthrob, Balraj is crazy about Kurta pjama & Turbans, sharing his future plans, he said, “I want to be a successful actor. But being on the grounds, I want to help more people through my smile foundation…!”
Addressing the Press conference, Mr. Gaurav Khanna (Head, Public Relations, CT Group of Institutions) said, “At the same time, Balraj has showcased the twisted & positive side of Punjab which is drug-free and healthy with his fit body and healthy mind in the show, he said, “No doubt, everybody is talking about Punjab being drug ridden, films are being made, articles are being written, debates are being organised, a lot of arguments and misconceptions has been made over this social evil which is not false but at the same time this is only the one side of the coin. The other side highlights the healthy and wealthy Punjab. Our youth is not only drug addicted but they are some focused and addicted to healthy lifestyle, participating in weight lighting competitions, making Punjab’s, making India’s mark at national and International level.  We should also appreciate the same to boost them and encourage the drug addicted towards healthy life style.”
Mr. Khanna introduced students Harpreet Singh who is working as Gym Instructor at Gold Gym, Robin Minoccha, Siramjeet Singh and Manwinderpreet Singh those who participated in power lifting, weight lifting and other athletic events under the patronage of CT Group of Institutions as the Symbols of Drugs free Fitness.
Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) said, “Drug addiction is a serious problem amongst youngsters, controlling it is a major challenge. For any such effort to succeed, it is necessary to channelise the creative energy of the youngsters against the menace. Balraj Singh Khehara is a motivating example for such youth to curb the menace and come out in flying colors.”
