Jalandhar 21 June (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar NCC Dept., Vedic Research Centre and N.S.S. units jointly celebrated International Yoga Day alongwith the cadets of Annual Training Camp of 2Pb Girls Battalion of NCC Jalandhar. Camp Commandant and also commanding officer 2 Pb (G) BN NCC Jalandhar Col.Atul Shah and Mrs. Kamal Wadhawa from Bhartiya Yoga Sansthan were present on the occasion.
The Chief Guest for the occasion Mrs. Seema Jain who is also the officiating Principal of KMV congratulatedthe organizes for the successful organization of the event. She exhorted everyone present to adopt Yoga as a way of life. Lieutenant SeemaAroraincharge KMV NCC unit, Vedic Research Centre Co-ordinator Dr. Neeraj Sharma Prof. Anupam and Prof. AshimaIncharge N.S.S. Unit of KMV were also present on the occasion.
During the ongoing ten days camp which began on 17th June 2016 Mrs. Kamal Wadhwa will be giving a lot of information regarding the benefits of Yoga in addition to teaching Prenayam and Yoga arenas. She will be giving regular practice to the cadets every morning. In the ongoing practice session the cadets have already learnt many things, which have benefitted them both mentally & physically at KMV Yoga Classes are matter of routine. Many Yoga Sansthan of India have extended their co-operator for the same. In this modern era of speed and anxiety these classes have undoubtedly brought a lot of peace, mental plus physical strength for the students. After encouragement from central government and establishment of Yoga as a way of life at International level KanyaMahaVidyalaya has decided to be even more active in this direction.
