BRAR NAILS BAINS IN TWITTER WAR - CM's MEDIA ADVISOR CAUGHT USING FAKE ACCOUNTS

Jalandhar 13 July (Bureau)- Reacting to the controversy surrounding the Twitter battle between himself & Punjab CM’s Media Advisor Harcharan Bains, Jagmeet Singh Brar said “These Akalis lie in their offices, from stages, in the assembly and even in their homes – when they are caught lying they lie more to try and cover up”. He added “They are paying sportsmen & singers to lie in the ‘Don’t Defame Punjab’ campaign since Udta Punjab was released - the people of Punjab wont be fooled, and they cannot wish away the tears of mothers who have lost their sons to their drugs with paid lies”. He responded to Bains by saying “I don’t need the advise of a paid Akali advisor let him advise those he works for – I will not respond to a liar and troll”. On Bains’s allegation that he and AAP were on the same side he said “Both AAP and I have the same issues and share a common ideology of saving Punjab from the Akali Congress fixed match system – so if we agree on some points that is obvious.”
He rubbished Bains’s claims that he was desperate to join AAP by saying “I have not approached them and they have not approached me – I have said this a 100 times, if Bains stops lying and reads the newspaper he will not ask such questions. I’m surprised that as Media Advisor to the CM he doesn’t even follow news”. He concluded by saying “Bains is paid to carry this basket on lies on his head; people are not. I was honoured with Awaaz E Punjab for speaking the truth and I will do that as long as I live, your PR and dirty tricks cannot silence the truth”.
