Jalandhar 4 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust a seminar on, “Adolescence related Health and Hygiene” was conducted. It was organised for the girls of classes VI and VII. The mothers of those girls were also invited for the session. On this occasion Gynecologist – Dr. Neetika Pal and Dietician- Dr. Meenu Vahi shared some important information regarding teens. Dr. Neetika shared problems of Adolescence through Power Point Presentation (PPT). The students and their mothers asked their queries from the doctors. The dietician - Dr. Meenu talked about nutritious diet. They edified the mothers that good health is a treasure, so mothers should take care of diet of their daughters. Fruits and green vegetables should be a part of their diet. Dr. Neetika and Dr. Meenu were welcomed by the Vice – Principal - Mrs. Sharmila Nakra, Examination Incharge – Mrs. Gurwinder Kaur, Primary Wing Incharge Mrs. Harleen Guleria. Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust announced about a camp where 20 percent discount would be given for Medical checkup, weight loose package, Bone Density, Gynec- problems.
