Jalandhar 6 August (Jaswinder Azad)- With a pious hawan yajna , the new academic session was commenced in the girls hostel. With the vedic chantings, principal Dr BB sharma, students and the teachers gave thier aahutiyas in the hawan yajna. Exclaiming about the significance of hawan yajna , principal Dr B B Sharma quoted " they signify the building blocks of Our culture " and no good day or occasion can be commenced without conducting a hawan yajna, and it undoubtedly provides happiness and credibility to the society and gives birth to the feeling of sacrifice. Principal Dr BB sharma blessed the students and inspired them to participate in all academic and cultural sessions and also appraised the fact as to how today the girls are shining in all the fields. Chief warden Prof T D Saini , Prof Lakhbir Singh, Warden Madam Roumila Sharma, Shri R K Mahajan and Smt Renu Mahajan were present to grace the occasion. At this occasion. Principal Dr B B Sharma showered his blessings to the birthday kids by giving them greeting cards.
