Jalandhar 19 August (Jaswinder Azad)- The World Photography Day was celebrated by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, GNDU Regional Campus, at Ladhewali here today. A photo caption writing contest was organized in which students from all departments of the campus participated. Dilpreet Singh was declared first, Prabhdayal Singh came second and Paramjot was third in this competition. Mr. Sandeep Singh, a freelance photographer, conducted a workshop with the media students. He delivered a lecture on the basic techniques of photography. Later, the students clicked photographs on the campus.
Dr. Namarta Joshi, Head of the Department gave some tips on photography. Dr. Charan kamal Walia was also present on the occasion.
