Jalandhar 10 September (Jaswinder Azad)- A thrilling 5 Day Dance Workshop is inaugurated at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar on 10th September 2016. The renowned Kathak Artist Vidha Lal is enlightening the students about the depth of classical steps in Kathak. Vidha Lal had been the pupil of the renowned Kathak Artist Ms. Geetanjali who belongs to Jampur Gharana. She has many eminent awards to her credit including the prominent Sh. Krishna Gana Award. Not only this, her worldwide fame is based on her record of 103 spins of Kathak in one minute which is recorded in Guinness Book of World Records. In the coming 5 days, she will acquaint the students about the details of Kathak. Principal Dr. Sucharita expressed her gratitude to Vidha Lal for sharing her valuable experience with the college students. She said it will be highly beneficial for the students to gather practical knowledge in this workshop which will establish a milestone in their careers.
