- A Three days Festival is organized by CT Group of Institutions in association with North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala.

CT Group of Institutions in association with North Zone Cultural
Centre, Patiala, on Thursday staged a First Play ‘Bhagat Singh Ki Vapsi’
at a Three Days Theatre Festival in the Sardarni Manjit Kaur
Auditorium, Shahpur Campus. Bohemians Theatre’s Pupil Association also
coordinated the festival.
A Three days Theatre Festival commenced with the play presenting four social ills—unemployment, child labour, wretched condition of farmers, land acquisitions and administrative atrocities. It was directed by Sh. Ayaz Khan of saakaar foundation & parivartan samodh from Gwalior and written by Sh. Sagar Sarhadi. The play was based on 20 characters and of 90 minutes.
The play highlighted the life struggle and fights of Bhagat Singh with British rulers at his very young age. Now the artists with their powerful performance encouraged the youth to replicate Bhagat Singh’s passion to throw away the bad from the society and make it a peaceful place to live in. They motivated the youth to get a tough fight to the social evils at the foremost to get the same place desired by Bhagat Singh for his society, for his Punjab, for his India.
Noted actors enacted passionately by living their characters to the core and forwarded strong social and national consciousness among the audience. The performance of the play got standing ovation. More than 200 people attended the theatre festival.
The chief Guest for the inaugural day Mr. Jarnail Singh (Program officer, North Zone Cultural centre) and Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions) appreciated the performance of the team. Mr. Jarnail Singh (Program officer, North Zone Cultural centre) said that there is a need to encourage art and art activities. Such events would help in doing so.“We are highly thankful to CT Group of Institutions for their support in organizing this theatre festival.”
Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions) said, “Indeed, the play has depicted the real situation of current scenario where people are facing the acute problems of unemployment, corruption and others. The play has encouraged and motivated the audience to uplift themselves, uplift their souls and mind towards the betterment of society by fighting with the prevailing evils among us.”
On the second day, Kachraa Raakshas will be staged while on the third day it will be Babu Jee.
