Engineering students from different streams attended the seminar and outperform in the competitive events.
Jalandhar 14 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Engineering the word as powerful as it sounds, the heaviness of the word is itself a masterpiece. It means to share, act and believe in yourself, and your skills that are to be implied in this profession. Engineering is the application of scientific, economic, social and practical knowledge in order to invent, design build and improve structures. On the special day to commemorate the Engineers’ Day, CT Group of Institutions organized multiple events at its both Shahpur and Maqsudan Campus. A seminar was organized asking the students to get inspired by the accomplishments of genius like Mokshagundam Vishweshwarayya on whose birthday the day is celebrated. His services to the engineering field were recalled and students were explained how a source of inspiration he was for engineers across the country.
Mr. A.P. Singh (Vice Chairman, Fine Switch Gears, Phagwara) and Mr. Nalin Tayal (Honorary Secretary, Institution of Engineers, Ludhiana and Chairman, Gate India, Ludhiana) were Special Guests for the day. They shared their views on the importance of Engineers’ Day with the students. There were presentations delivered by the students at both Shahpur and Maqsudan Campus. Students from different streams including Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and others. There was a special competitive event was also organized comprising of Kabaad se Jugaad, Poster Making and Proto- Mania events. In which students outperformed and displayed their technical talents.
At the same time, the day was also celebrated at CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology (CTITR), Maqsudan Campus. The events included were Sketching & Module Modeling, Break and Make, Coding, Techno Poster Making and others. The students executed their best innovative ideas and presented the best technical innovations.
Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) appreciated the faculty members for organizing such noble events which would serve as source of inspiration and enlightenment. He emphasized the need to provide holistic education to young talents who are the future aspirants in the engineering field. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) recalled the noble efforts of the genius engineer.
