Jalandhar 20 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Jalandhar, September 20- The Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, GNDU Regional Campus at Ladhewali here organized an Inter-College Antakshri today. Teams from GNDU Regional Campus, Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala, I.K.G Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, HMV College, Jalandhar, CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur and GNDU College, Ladhowali participated, out of which four teams were selected for the final rounds. The winners were Niharika and Komal from HMV College, second position was won by Vipan and Sanjana of Punjabi Department, GNDU Regional Campus while Aneesha and Amanat of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala, were placed third. Antakshri was conducted by Ms. Savita, Ms. Shopita and Ajay Joshi. There were five rounds- Antakshri, Double Dhamaal, Dhun, Tadka Mix & Bhujo to Jaane. Prizes were distributed to the winners by Dr. Namarta Joshi, Head of the Department. While welcoming the students, she said that the department has always been a trend setter and this is for the first time Antakshri has been organized by any media department. Films songs and music are an integral part of our life and are liked by all age groups. Dr. Rupum Jagota, Dr. Charan Kamal Walia, Mr. Rama Shankar were also present on the occasion.
