Jalandhar 19 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar in collaboration with ‘Saanjh Kendra North” organized interactive session in which Mr. Arpit Shukla (Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar), Ms. Amneet Kondal (ADCP, HQ) and Ms. Deepika Singh (ACP, Jalandhar) interacted with the students. Principal KMV Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi extended floral greetings to the esteemed guests. It was a highly interactive session where the panelists. Mr. Arpit Shukla, Ms. Amneet Kondal, Ms. Deepika Singh and Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi gave satisfactory answers to the questions asked by the students and the faculty members. The focus of this session was presentation of crime against women. The queries of the students were related to the safety of women, the present law and order situation, the functioning of police etc. and all the queries were very well answered by the eminent panelists. Mr. Arpit Shukla gave away prizes to the winners of various competitions held in the recent past. Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV extended gratitude to the worthy police personnel and said that such interactive sessions help to bridge the gap between the public and the police and gave way for a better society. Ms. Seema Jain (Head, PG Dept. of English) and Dr. Madhumeet, the incharges of the programme were also present on the occasion.
