Jalandhar 11 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Private College Non-Teaching Employees Union, Punjab (Aided & Unaided) condemned the attitude of Higher Education Minister of Punjab S. Surjit Singh Rakhra towards the demands of the Non-Teaching Employees of the Aided colleges of the state. Mr. Madan Lal Khullar, President said that in the Vidhan Sabha Session Mr. Rakhra declared that the various allowances to the staff of aided colleges have not been considered by the government. Such type of anti employees attitude of Akali-BJP government has not been tolerated by the non-teaching employees and they will oppose the government in the upcoming elections of the assembly. Mr. Khullar told that Akali-BJP government demolished the higher education from the Punjab state because all people will illiterate and they will ruled at their own. But they do not know non-teaching employees of the colleges of Punjab are very particular about their rights and demands. He also said that they will hold the dharna in front of the local MLAs for fulfillment of their demands and anti government slogans will be raised. About 300-400 people will participate in the said dharna. On this occasion, Chief Advisor Mr. Kulwant Singh,Vice President Mr. Bhupinder Thakur, Joint Secretary Lakhwinder Singh, Co-Convener DAVCCC Punjab Mr. Ravi Maini, President HMV Unit Raman Behl, President DAV College Unit Mr. Manav Rakhra and others members were also present.
