Jalandhar 11 September (Jaswinder Azad)- R. Venkataraman Chemical Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a DBT sponsored motivational seminar on the topic Never Give Up for B.Sc.I Med./Non-Med/Comp.Sc. under the guidance of Principal Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. The chief guest and the resource person for the seminar was Dr. Umesh Arya from Guru Jambeshwar University, Hisar. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen welcomed the guest with bouquet of flowers. Dr. Umesh Arya motivated the students of B.Sc.I. He emphasized when you can not correct what has gone wrong in life don’t waste more time over it instead get busy in fixing new goals regaining confidence and enthusiasm and give all your energy and focus to achieve this goal. He practiced different techniques like deep breathing, meditation and hypnotizing session and tried to clear the heart and mind of students of negative feelings and guilt and rejuvenated them with positive energy. This session was very beneficial for students as they felt very energized, focused and confident. The stage was conducted by Secretary of society Miss Simran. The seminar was arranged by Mrs. Jyoti Kaul, HOD Chemistry, Dr. Neelam Sharma and Dr. Ekta Khosla. On this occasion all science faculty was present. During discussion session, he tried to solve the psychological problems of students regarding family and society and peer group pressure by interacting them in simple language.
