Jalandhar 4 October (Jaswinder Azad)- In keeping with its tradition Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar celebrated founder’s day in the memory of late Dr. Satya Paul, Founder of Apeejay Education Society to commemorate its legacy and success on his 97th birth anniversary, biographical video and PPT related to Dr. Satya Paul was shown to the students. The children sang religious hymns in a choir to pay a tribute to the holy soul. The Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Arshiya Badalia and the staff paid floral tribute on Dr. Satya Paul’s picture. On this special day, a cycling march was journied from Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg to the Apeejay School, Tanda Road Jalandhar, the homeplace of Dr. Satya Paul. It was organized by cycling club of the school. 27 students led by vice principal of the school, Mr. Girish Kumar rallied together. Every year Dr. Satya Paul award is announced on this day. This year the award is given to the Headgirl of the school Ms. Pearl Kakaria.
