Jalandhar 21 October (Jaswinder Azad)- KMV’s PG Dept. of Fashion Designing organized a two - day exhibition-cum-sale ‘Prayaas’ in Hotel Shangrila. At KMV the motto ‘Earn While You Learn’ is a hallmark feature of academics where students are trained not only for creating products but also skilled in their marketing while dealing with real customers. This exhibition focused on Skill Development and Kaushal Kendra was associated with this exhibition. Mrs. NeerjaChanderMohann, the Chief Guest inaugurated this exhibition. The Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the creative endeavors of the young and budding desiners and entrepreneurs. The eminent guests present on the occasion were Mrs. RajmohiniSondhi, Mrs. AnuradhaSondhi, Dr. SushmaChawla, Dr. Sushma Chopra, Mrs. SushilaBhagat and Mrs. NeeruKapoor. The exhibition featured festive Diwali products like fancy diyas, gift packings, jewellery, suits, sarees, Kurtis, torans, bed sheets, cushion covers, t-shirts, towel, sets, masks, file folders, roti wraps, table mats, wall hangings, bags, wax and gel candles, decorative items etc. The Department of Home Science featured their festive sweets made by the students of Home Science. The Principal of KMV, Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, the visionary behind this exhibition lauded the efforts of the HOD HarpreetKaur, Ms. AmarjotKaur, Ms. TarandeepKaur and the Department of Fashion Designing. Dr. Madhumeet was also applauded for her advisory role in this exhibition.
