Jalandhar 1 October (Jaswinder Azad)- The PG Department of History Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized a Fresher's party for the fresher students of MA History. The chief guest of the event was the college Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra who welcomed the new coming students of the outgoing class and urged them to work united with all their potential for the development of country. The Head of the Department Dr. Suman Chopra welcomed the Principal, other guests and students. Modeling, Dance, Bhangra, Skits were presented by the students on this occasion. Parminder Kaur was declared Miss. Fresher, where as Sunil Brar was chosen Mr. Fresher. Jatinder Kaur was declared Miss Performance and Rahul was declared Mr. Performance. The occasion was witnessed by the students and the staff of the department. Stage was managed by Kanishak and Sushant. Prof. Amandeep Kaur, Prof. Karanbir Singh, Prof. Kulnaz Kaur and Prof. Sandeep Kumar were also present on this occasion.
