Jalandhar 2 December (Jaswinder Azad)- Harpreet Singh Sidhu, a multi talented student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, has been rewarded with 31,000/- by the Governing Council of the college. Giving the reward to the talented Harpreet Singh Sidhu, College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra mentioned that Harpreet who is the student of commerce and has showed his acumen in the youth festivals from 2011 to 2016. Dr. Samra also reiterated that Harpreet has bagged first position in folk song competition held in 2014, ‘Best Singer’ in Bhangra Song song by him in 2016 and four times first position holder in vaar competition. He is also an active participant in plays and other singing activities. He has also achieved the award of best singer at virasati mela organized by Punjab Government in 2013-14. Very Soon he is going to present his debut song ‘saadgi’. College Governing Council president, Sardarni Balbir Kaur gave her best wishes to the upcoming star of the Industry. On this occasion, college Registrar Prof. Jasreen Kaur and Dr. R.S. Sandhu, Dean Academic affairs were also present.
