Jalandhar 23 January (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s Giddha and Luddi team received recognition and laudable appreciation in the open National Youth Festival at MD University, Rohtak. Seventeen students along with Ms. Poonam (Asst. Prof. in Music) and Ms. Geetika (Asst. Prof. in Sociology) presented three performances on stage. KMV team represented Punjab at Rohtak. Apart from giving performance students whole heartedly participated in Lohri and other celebration in campus. The students received special appreciation for their exemplary performance. Contingent Incharge Mr. K.S. Sidhu (Assistant Director, Youth Welfare Services) lamented that the team was shown grace and represented their institution in a true sense by maintain discipline & decorum on the campus.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi stated that such participations give lot of exposure to students and such type of activities will broaden the horizon of students as they gelled with students of various states & came to know about the culture and tradition. She congratulated Ms. Geetika & Poonam for pulling in than best efforts.
