Jalandhar 31 January (Jaswinder Azad)- At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandharwhere progressive social and political events are participated in whole heartedly, keeping in view the coming elections students staged a NukkadNatak on the importance of voting under SVEEP Programme. It is noteworthy that the same was written directed and staged purely by the students. The message of the play exhorted one and all to vote judiciously and compulsorily during the coming election on 4th Feb, 2017, so that a responsible, popular Govt. which was truly elected by the people in an unbiased way could work uninterruptedly for their full term & bring several positive changes. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the efforts of the students and said that she agreed wholeheartedly with the message and wished that all acted on it. A CD by the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication promoting the campaign ‘to vote’was release on the occasion.
