Jalandhar 13 February (Jaswinder Azad)- The students, staff and President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur, along with the members of the Management Committee today paid their obeisance at Sehaj Path held in the College Gurudwara today on the Barsi of Late Sardar Balbir Singh Ex-Member Parliament who remained the president of the College Governing Council for four decades. On this occasion, Kirtan was recited by Bhai Jagtar Singh, Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar. Recalling the unparalleled contribution of Late S. Balbir Singh to the College, and particularly to the Doaba region of Punjab, the Principal of the college Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra informed that S. Balbir Singh dedicated his entire life to the College and his ideals and vision still stand as a light house to the college. He was also remembered as the pioneer of Computer and Biotechnology education in the whole of north India.
The occasion was marked by the presence of Members of the College Governing Council Managing Committee and many other dignitaries from abroad along with principals, directors and staff members of KCL Group of Institutions.
