Jalandhar 2 February (Jaswinder Azad)- Dr. Balwinder Singh a renowned Professor of D.A.V College Jalandhar, delivered a very informative lecture on 'Ministry of External Affairs', ' Govt.of India's Regional Passport Office' at D.A.V College, Jalandhar. The resource person Dr.Balwinder while addressing the quarterly workshop on the topic "Official Language Policy and its practical side" stressed upon those paradoxes under the Official Language Act present in the Constitution of India, which create problems in the Hindi language. He said, in India deplorable condition of Official language Hindi is due to lack of political power, Administrative distate, Technical and Practical Challenges along with the human mentality. According to him, in the offices of central government, officials of hindi section should discharge their responsibilities with complete discipline. They should be efficient as well as effective in meeting their responsibilities. Dr. Balwinder Singh is a renowned spokesperson who have delivered many lectures on many topics in many universities and colleges. This session by him was quite informative and enlightened the minds of the listeners.
