Jalandhar 18 February (Gurkirat Singh)- Anu Yadav, a student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, who secured 1st position in I-Semester in University exams of MA-Geography by getting 343 marks out of 400. Kanika Sharma and Harjeet Singh of the same college bagged 2nd and 4th position by getting 333 and 325 respectively in the same exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Dr. G.S. Samra gave this information adding that Lyallpur Khalsa College is the only college in Doaba region to offer MA Geography and is the first choice of the students because of its excellent teaching and impressive results in university exams. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Prof. J.S. Rana and Prof. Lakhvinder Singh were also present in this occasion.
