Jalandhar 27 March (Jaswinder Azad)- Under the surveillance of Princpial Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra, Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar organized a Blood Donation Camp in coordination with the Youth Club and the Red Ribbon Club. Over 50 students and staff members of the college donated their blood on the occasion. Dr. Navjot Mahal DCP Jalandhar was the chief guest for the program. Organizer of the camp and the incharge of the Center of Youth Affairs, Dr. Tarsem Singh informed that Dr. Gagandeep Singh BTO Civil Hospital and Smt. Sudeep Dhillon Councillor BTO oversaw the proceedings of the blood donation camp with their expertise. Speaking on the occasion, College Princpial Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra emphasized the need of blood donation and highlighted its relevance in the medical set up of our country. He also declared the college’s commitment towards such efforts for the welfare of the society. Prof. Dinkar Sharma, Prof. Palwinder Singh, Prof. Sonu Gupta, Prof. Sonia Nayyar were among the staff members to volunteer for blood donation. Dr. Navjot Mahal awarded certificates to the participants. The occasion was also witnessed by College Registrar Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Talwinderpal Kaur, Prof. Jaswinder Kaur, Prof. Gagandeep Kaur, Prof.Balwinder Singh Chahal, Prof. Simranjit Singh Bains, Prof. Harjit Singh, Prof. Charanjit Singh, Prof. Gagandeep Singh, Prof. Ratnakar Maan, Prof. Upma Arora, Prof. Amanjot Kaur and Prof. Ubique.
