Annual Prize Distribution Organised at Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus

Jalandhar 11 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Over 550 prizes accorded to meritorious students for their accomplishments in academics and co- curricular activities at the Annual Prize Distribution Function held in Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus today.  Dr. Narinder Paul Singh, Dean Planning & Development and International Affairs was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. A.P. Singh, Dean, Research Innovation Consultancy was the Guest of Honour for the Annual Prize Distribution ceremony. The Chief Guest distributed more than 550 prizes and certificates to the students for their accomplishments in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. Speaking on the occasion, honourable chief guest congratulated the students for displaying spectacular performances and encouraged them to continue their pursuit of knowledge and excellence throughout their lives.
Liakat Bir Singh of MBA III and Priyanka Kaura of  MCA V were awarded with ‘Dr. Stya Paul Award for Human Values’ for exhibiting a high level of integrity in her behaviour and conduct. This award includes a one-time scholarship of Rs. 5000.
Sahil Dewan of MBA III and Komal Chitkara of MBA I were honoured as Mr. & Ms. Pinnacle 2016 respectively . Nikita Vij and Jasleen Bhullar of MBA IV were accorded  the  Best Compere Award. Sheetal of MBA III won the Best Dancer Prize.
Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of the institution, welcomed the chief guest, members of Board of Governors and other dignitaries, and also presented the institutes's Annual Report outlining the initiatives, achievements and progress made in enhancing the quality of education imparted. He also made a reference to the infrastructure of the institute, teaching methodology, academic results, cultural and sports activities.
Dr. Bagga further informed that AIMTC’s Campus Placement Programme this year met with stupendous success as many reputed companies participated in it and recruited  students of both MBA and MCA.
On the occasion, students of the institute presented a vibrant and enthralling cultural programme, which started on an auspicious note with invocation to the almighty. A soulful and melodious medley of different compositions presented by students, added to the beauty of the evening. The students also presented a Choreography on the theme of India Pakistan relationships. The choreography highlighted how the vested interests of a few individuals lead to the suffering and misery of general masses on both sides of the border. The function reached its glory when a scintillating folk dance was performed by the students. The entire spectrum of the diverse Indian culture was showcased in the programme from folk to metropolitan and from traditional to contemporary.
Mr. Rajneesh Arya, Dean, School of Management Studies thanked the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and other dignitaries for sparing their valuable time to be a part of the function.
