Jalandhar 10 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is promoting research at undergraduate level. Students of B.Sc. classes are doing research on the removal of Chromium (vi) by low cost adsorbents after suitable chemical modifications. Ms. Riddhi Salotra (B.Sc.III) and Ms. Priya Kumari (B.Sc.II) have done two research projects under the guidance of Dr. Ekta Khosla. They have presented their research work in many conferences and have won best paper awards. They have won a cash prize in International Conference on Recent Advances in Quality Enhancement in Science and Technology. They participated in National Seminar in Chemical Sciences (RACS III) held at Khalsa College, Amritsar on April 8, 2017. They won best paper award in undergraduate research category. Their work was highly appreciated by the scientists from various reputed institutions. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, Dean Academics Mrs. Meenakshi Syal and research supervisor Dr. Ekta Khosla congratulated them.
