Jalandhar 10 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Khalsa Association of Singapore is celebrating the benign festival of Baisakhi and 27 students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts Jalandhar have departed on this enterprise to brighten the shine not only of the college but of the whole nation. In this cross-cultural programme, students will exhibit the richness of our culture at international level by representing the Punjabi Art, Culture, Outfits, Folk Songs, Music and Punjabi Language etc. On this 7 day venture, students will represent 11 diverse styles of dance, music and theatre. Not only this, the models and designers of the college will showcase the trends in apparels from the times of Independence to present day.
Principal Dr. Sucharita poured her blessings on the participating students and said this journey will give them fruitful results as it provides a platform to youngsters to represent their art and culture as well as to learn the ethics of other nations. She also expressed a word of gratitude to Dr. Arun Mishra, Dr. Amita Mishra, Dr. Manisha, Dr. Micky Verma and Ms. Heena Kapoor for their dedicated efforts in preparing the students for this programme.
