Jalandhar 8 May (Jaswinder Azad)- The Multimedia department of Apeejay college of Fine arts feels honoured by the glorious Achievement of its talented artist. “Harike Pattan” selected for Festival universtaire International cine: letters D’ Agodi for its screening at Morrocco , brings glories to Gurukaran Bir Singh Bath. It is worth mentioning that this gifted student is studying for the Eighth Semester of BMM at this Institution. Harike Pattan is the name of the river near Tarntaran. The film has been created on the foundation of some historical facts associated with this river. This film brings to light some negative facts related to the violation of human rights mainly during 1990-95. The fake encounters mix the hard facts with fiction in the structure of the film. It is significant to note that this is the only film selected from Punjab. Congratulating the student on his glorious achievement , Principal Dr. Suchraita Sharma offers him best wishes for greater success in the coming Future.
