Jalandhar 5 June (Gurkirat Singh)- The staff members of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Chhabeel for public outside the college on the occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi. This Chhabeel was organized till evening. On this occasion, Chairman Local Committee Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud, Member Local Committee Sh. Ajay Goswami, Dean Academics Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, HOD Punjabi Mrs. Kawaljit Kaur were present. Among non-teaching staff members, Office Supdt. Mr. Amarjit Khanna, Supdt. Gen. Mr. Raman Behl, Supdt. Accounts Mr. Pankaj Jyoti, Mr. Ravi Kumar, Mr. Rajiv Bhatia and others were also present. Chairman Local Committee Justice (Retd.)Sh. N.K. Sud said that Nirjala Ekadashi is the most pious Ekadashi amongst all 24 Ekadashis. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the initiative of staff members and said that it is the result of moral values taught by DAV, which teaches us service to humanity.
