- Voter awareness initiatives held at KNCW
Jalandhar 15 July (Gurkirat Singh)- The competitions of Rangoli and Poster Making were organized at Kamla Nehru College for women, Phagwara on Saturday for Voter Awareness. The event was organized under SVEEP program by the departments of NSS and Fine Arts of the college. On the occasion, the students of classes 11 and 12 wholeheartedly participated in the competitions and gave away the message of importance of vote. In rangoli competition, Sukhmeet Kaur stood first, Ritika stood second, Kashish stood third while Rajwant Kaur secured consolation prize. In poster making Kirandeep Kaur stood first, Poonam Saini stood second, Neha stood thirs and Preet and Gurpreet Kaur bagged consolation prize. College Principal Dr. Kiran Walia congratulated the winning students and Dr. Gurpreet Kaur and Prof. Rajni of NSS and Dr. Sudhamani Sood and Prof. Sonia of Fine Arts department on the occasion.
