Jalandhar 13 July (Gurkirat Singh)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution rooted in traditions and branching out in modernity began the auspicious 132nd academic session 2017-18 with the performance of Hawan. It was attended by all the faculty and students collectively. During the Hawan all sought the blessings of the almighty for a fruitful and academically rewarding year ahead. All prayed for world prosperity and peace as well. At the culmination of the Hawan Principal KMV Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi acquainted all with the rich heritage of the college and its enviable rich cultural values. She also said that it is not only necessary to have made history but it is also imperative to continue to make history in order to survive and thrive. She wished prosperity and good luck to the faculty and students and also motivated them to work hard. After the Hawan the new students were given time-table and were also taken on a round of the college by the students council in order to familiarize the freshers with their institution.
