KMV offers professional courses after 10+2

Jalandhar 14 July (Gurkirat Singh)- At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar professional courses in various streams are being offered after 10+2 under the DDU Kaushal Kendra which is being sponsored by the Govt. of India. At a young age these certificate and Diploma courses equip the youth to work in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other countries with lucrative job offers. The certification is done by Sector skills Council, Govt. of India. The avenues offered are that of courses of make-up artist, Asst. Fashion Designer, Graphic designer all of which are creative fields where employability is at international level as these certificates and diplomas are valid internationally. Those interested in language skills can do the course of script writer (Film, TV & Radio). Those who seek employability in the health sector can do the course of Diet Assistant & Home Health Aid. A very unconventional but relevant course at that of floriculturist.  People with technical skills & computer savvy can be employed after course in Life Insurance Services and Domestic, Data Entry Operator. There is no age limit to join these courses. Interested young people can contact Ms. Suman, Ms. Rashmi, Ms. Harpreet, Ms. Neeti, Dr. Sabina & Ms. Rajvir all faculty working at KMV presently. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi asserted that skill development amongst youth was very imperative and one of the biggest need of the hour. She appreciated the vision of Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi & said that specially the youth of India will find a big channel to productively use their energies to the hilt.
