Jalandhar 22 August (Gurkirat Singh)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s KMV NCC-Sub-Unit Su/o Shabnam and U/O Sunaina were honoured by Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi as they were honoured for exemplary performance in NCC by the Distt. Administration on 15-08-2017 with certificate and medal of merit by Punjab Minister for Rural Development Tript Rajinder Bajwa. Shabnam attended R.D.C. 2017 and Sunaina attended T.S.C. 2017. They have also been involved in adventure training & camps. While Shabnam attended SNIC at Ross Island (Andaman & Nicobar) and got the experience of Scuba diving, Sunaina attended at (NIM) Nehru Institute of Mountaineering Uttar Kashi rock climbing training camp. Both the cadets were very happy with the exposure & training provided by 2 Pb (G) Bn NCC. They said that the encouragement & motivation of the staff at the NCC Unit and the Infrastructure, facilities & opportunities given by the College were par excellence. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated both the cadets on this exemplary achievement. She wished them a bright future.
