Jalandhar 19 February (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts organised a Fancy Dress Competition for the tiny tots of Innokids Pre-School where the mothers and grandmothers were also made active participants. The little ones in flamboyant and varied costumes won the hearts of all present. The kids came dressed as Spiderman, Gurdas Maan, Water Drop, Exam Chart, Punjabi Girl, Smart Phone, and Policeman, some also giving the message of ‘Stop Child Labour’ and ‘Swachh Bharat’ through costumes. Ms. Kiran and Ms. Richa successfully essayed the role of judges for the competition. On this occasion a number of fun games were conducted for the enjoyment of the mothers and grandmothers. Activities like writing the names of as many spices as possible within a minute, reciting poems with actions and for the grandmothers to sing a lullaby were the innovations of the day. The winners were awarded prizes by Vice-Principal - Ms. Sharmila Nakra, Incharge Innokids – Ms. Gurmeet Kaur and Ms. Alka Arora. Every participant was bestowed with an appreciation trophy while the winners got prizes. A student of K.G. I, Yashvi presented an enchanting guest item in Classical Dance. The tiny tots took part in the competition with great zeal and fervor.
