Jalandhar 11 September (Gurkirat Singh)- NSS and Youth Club organised a seminar to acknowlege the students to the dieases like dengue, malaria, chickenpox and swine flu. Cheif guest for this seminar was Dr Raghuvir Singh Randhawa from Civil Hospital. Principal Dr SK Arora said any information related to health and cronic or vector born diesease must be given to the students. Through seminars like this we can spread awarness. Dr Raghuvir Singh Randhawa said that symptoms like fever, headache, pain the eyes, joint pains and backache out of nowhere are signs for dengue and malaria. To avoid them dont allow water to stand outside your house.Keep clean the sewage of the houses and the area where you live in. Once in a while sprey insect repalent in your house.It is mendatory to have a blood check up if fever is occuring to someone.Once a person is digonsed with dengue and malaria he should be given treatment immediately as they are deadly diseases. Dr Satish Kumar gave a power point presentation on disease like dengue, chockenpox, malaria and swineflu to bring a picture of disease in children's mind. NSS Co-ordinator Pof SK Midha said the way you are attending this seminar in same way you have to spread information obtained from this seminars to others. On this occation Dr Preet Sidhu, Naresh Sharma,Manjeet Singh and Kulwant Singh who are heathinspector gave their veiws on these diesase. NSS Co-ordinator Prof SK Midha Youth Club Co-ordinator Prof Asha Verma,Dr SK Khuranna, Prof Meenu were present in the seminar.
